Within one business day. Your note goes to a lead rather than a shared queue, and the reply is either how we'd approach the problem and what it takes, or an honest “that's not us” with a pointer to who might fit better.

What should I put in the first message?

The problem, not the specification. What's broken or blocked, what you've already tried, and any hard constraint - a deadline, a regulator, an incumbent system. That's enough for a useful reply; we'll ask for the rest.

Do I have to book a call to get an answer?

No. There's no qualification call to earn a reply - a written question gets a written answer. The call is offered when a conversation would genuinely be faster than email, not as a gate.

Is the strategy session a sales pitch?

Yes, and it's routine for anything commercially sensitive. Send yours or ask for ours, and we'll get it in place before the detail conversation rather than after it.

No - that's often the most useful point to talk. Scoping the thing properly is the work, and shaping it with you before a budget is fixed tends to produce a better answer than pricing a specification that was guessed at.
