About ⁦ECLACTRA™⁩

We stay in the room past the recommendation.

⁦ECLACTRA™⁩, pronounced eck-LAK-truh, is a product and engineering firm with a leadership practice attached. We build the AI, geospatial and immersive systems our clients run on, and we supply the executives who stay accountable for what those systems change.

The name, unpacked

ECLACTRA

Eclectic
AI, geospatial, immersive, platform and leadership work sit under one roof, because a real problem never arrives pre-sorted into disciplines.
Actions
The recommendation is the cheap half. We build the system, put it into production, and carry what happens next with you.
Trajectors
Every engagement is aimed at a destination you can name at the start and check against at the end.
How we started

It started as a complaint about how this work usually goes.

Nobody sets out to found a firm because the category is underserved. ⁦ECLACTRA™⁩ exists because the same failure kept repeating in front of the people who built it, and the fix turned out to require a company shaped differently from the ones causing it.

The question was never whether the plan was good. It was who would still be there when it met reality.
  1. The gap

Between the deck and the deployment

The same call kept coming in: the strategy had been signed off, the build had been quoted, and nobody owned the distance between them. A strategy partner writes the recommendation and leaves. An engineering vendor builds to the spec and leaves. The client pays twice and still holds every risk in the middle.

  2. The bet

One team on both sides of it

So ⁦ECLACTRA™⁩ was set up to refuse the choice - engineers who ship the system and executives accountable for landing it, working from problem framing through to production under the same names. Not a vendor with an advisory arm, and not an advisory with a delivery arm.

  3. What it became

    Projects turned into products

Solving the same class of problem often enough is how a services firm ends up with an ecosystem. What we built once inside one engagement became a platform the next ten clients don't have to fund from scratch - which is why we now sell named products alongside the work that produced them.

Our purpose

Why the firm exists, and what it does about it

Vision

Technology should amplify intelligence, unlock human potential, and create systems capable of solving the world's most complex challenges.

⁦ECLACTRA™⁩ exists to build those systems.

Mission

Turn complex, high-stakes problems into shipped, accountable action.

Most organizations don't have a shortage of strategy. They have a shortage of people who will stay past the recommendation and be accountable for what happens next. We build the AI systems, geospatial platforms, applications and delivery infrastructure - and we send the leadership to make sure they land.

Client voices

Trusted By The Teams We Build With

The work speaks first, but the people who lived through it say it better. Engagements across data, geospatial, immersive and fractional leadership - in their words.

  • We had models that worked and a release process that didn't. Six weeks in, the team was shipping on a schedule instead of on a heroic weekend.
Head of Data ScienceB2B software platform
  • The field crews stopped arguing with the map. That sounds small until you count the truck rolls it saved us in the first quarter.
    Director of OperationsRegional utility network
  • We needed a CTO's judgement two days a week, not a CTO's salary five. The roadmap we came out with is the first one our board actually believed.
Founder and CEOSeries A climate startup
  • They spent the first fortnight telling us which of our data problems weren't worth solving. Nobody we'd hired before had been willing to do that.
    VP of EngineeringLogistics marketplace
  • Our training simulation went from a demo we showed at conferences to something the safety team runs every intake week.
Head of Learning and DevelopmentIndustrial manufacturer
  • The handover was the part that surprised me. They documented it so well that our own engineers were extending it before the engagement even closed.
    Engineering ManagerHealthcare data provider
  • Planning decisions that used to take a fortnight of back-and-forth now happen in the meeting, on the map, with everyone looking at the same thing.
    Head of Network PlanningTelecommunications operator
  • They talked us out of the AI feature we walked in asking for and into the one that actually moved retention. That conversation paid for the whole engagement.
    Chief Product OfficerConsumer fintech
  • Small team, no ceremony, working software every fortnight. After two failed vendor engagements that was not what we expected.
    Programme DirectorPublic-sector agency
  • The fractional arrangement gave us senior cover while we hired properly, and the person we eventually hired inherited a function that already worked.

How is ECLACTRA™ structured?

As named product teams rather than a resourcing pool. Each pillar has people who work in it continuously, which is why a platform we shipped two years ago still has engineers who know it - and why the person in your kickoff is the person on your build.
